In 2021, the Cartier Libre collection receives two new models that are surprising for their creativity of shapes and jewelery power.
The Cartier Libre collection focuses on some of the most exotic forms that the Maison has ever conceived. This year’s first creation – filled with jewels – is the Baignoire. Inspired by the turtle’s shell, this piece is topped by 171 diamonds, 18 sapphires and 24 tsavorites.
The white gold case with rhodium finish measures 32.39 × 25.47 mm and is 7.57 mm thick. Available with a navy blue crocodile leather bracelet, the Baignoire has a quartz movement and is limited to 30 pieces.
In 2021, the Cartier Libre collection also received a Tortue model inspired by the snake’s skin. Here, the reptile is created with small pieces of black and red enamel, white mother-of-pearl and diamonds. These materials and tones harmonize to create a perfect composition.
Inside the new Tortue’s 31 x 39mm white gold case beats the ultra-thin 430 MC manual caliber, with 38 hours of power reserve. Like Baignoire, Cartier Libre Tortue is limited to 30 pieces.
