With its perfectly integrated case and bracelet, the Limelight Gala collection continues to win hearts and receives six new models.
First presented in the 1970s with a design that incorporated sensual lines, a curved case and asymmetrical lugs, almost half a century later, the Piaget Limelight Gala continues to win over female wrists and hearts. In homage to this iconic watch, in 2021, Piaget presents six new Limelight Gala models.
Limelight Gala Precious Rainbow
A true rainbow, as its name implies, of precious stones, the Limelight Gala Precious Rainbow shines in a 32 mm case, bracelet and rose gold dial decorated with the exclusive Piaget Palace technique.
The bezel and lugs of this Gala receive, for the first time in Piaget’s history, a rainbow setting with a spectacular variety of green tsavorites and colored sapphires ranging from red, orange, yellow, blue, indigo and violet.
Ode to the Sun
The Limelight Gala Precious collection also receives three new models, whose colors – blue, yellow and pink – follow the course of the Sun throughout the day. Thus, the blue represents the sunrise, the yellow the zenith and the pink the sunset. Each model is adorned with a gradient of colored sapphires and diamonds, more intense on the bezel and becoming clearer as it reaches the lugs tips. All Limelight Gala Precious watches that compliment the Sun are powered by the Piaget 501P1 automatic caliber.
Limelight Gala Mother-of-Pearl Palace
The Limelight Gala Mother-of-Pearl Palace comes in a 26 mm pink gold case adorned with diamonds, which frames a mother-of-pearl dial engraved with Piaget Palace decoration. As the engraving is done by hand, each dial is unique. This Limelight Gala model is limited to 300 pieces and is available with a white crocodile leather strap.
Limelight Gala High Jewellery Black Opal
Finally, but no less impressive, is the Limelight Gala High Jewelery Black Opal, whose sensual curves are accentuated by a row of 91 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 5.28 cts.), which surround the bezel, lugs and bracelet . About 80 marquise-cut emeralds join this line of sparkling diamonds, creating a sense of movement across the watch and highlighting the deep green tones of the opal dial. This model is powered by the Maison’s 56P quartz movement.
