Roger Dubuis’ visionary, bold and innovative spirit once again gives rise to irreverent watches, which combine technical and aesthetic sophistication. Discover the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Blacklight trilogy, with models that promise to stand out in the dark.

Widely recognized for technical and aesthetic innovation, Roger Dubuis surprises again with the new Excalibur Blacklight. These models incorporate a new artistic version of the iconic caliber RD820SQ, which now stands out for lighting up in the dark.

In this way, above, below and within the strongly skeletonized movement – as is the hallmark of the Excalibur collection – Roger Dubuis adds sapphire crystals produced in laboratory, which resemble small tubes of neon light. This addition not only adds depth to the already three-dimensional design of the watch, but also gives rise to an unexpected feature: when exposed to UV light, the crystals light up, creating an unprecedented visual effect on a wristwatch. Roger Dubuis also managed to produce sapphire crystal tubes in different colors (blue, pink or white, depending on the model), which means that, even when they are not exposed to UV light, they add an aesthetic element to the watch.

Thanks to this new technology, used for the first time in the world of Haute Horlogerie, the new Excalibur Blacklight take on a whole new dimension, offering a mix of different materials, to give way to a unique and contemporary design.

The Excalibur Blacklight is available in three different versions, all equipped with caliber RD820SQ and bearing the Geneva Seal. The model with pink gold case is a Boutique exclusive and is available in a limited edition of 28 pieces. The other two are limited to 88 pieces and are presented in white gold or titanium with black DLC coating. All models in the trilogy have the diamond-coated bezel, as well as the outline of the micro-rotor surrounded by these gems.
