The new Spirit collection from Longines is inspired by the pioneer spirit of the legendary pilots of early aviation.

A tribute to legendary aviators of the past like Amelia Earhart, Paul-Emile Victor, Elinor Smith and Howard Hughes, the new Spirit Collection by Longines takes traditional features from pilot’s watches and combine them with a contemporary design.

Howard Hughes was the fastest aviator in the world setting his speed record of 566 km/h

The oversized crown, the flange, the step around the crystal, the font of the dial, the large and luminous hands and hour markers are typical elements of the pilot’s watches seen in the early days of aviation. The Collection includes three-hand/date models in two sizes (40 mm and 42 mm) and a column-wheel chronograph (42 mm), equipped with COSC-certified automatic movements. On the dial of Spirit watches, five applied stars are symbol of quality, precision, and reliability.
